April, being my birthday month, was a very busy one, but I did manage to get some stitching done on my Beatrix Potter Sampler.
I just love how these Quaker medallions turn out with the hand-dyed silks!
I decided to keep the reproduction true to its original initials instead of changing them...
This sampler is very soothing to stitch...and I'm still having fun picking the thread color as I go!
Thank you for looking!!

Wow ....that is some progress, and all of it as lovely as I knew it would be. I can't wait to see it all finished. You are sooooo talented!!! XXX Annelies
Wow, fabulous progress! I just love the thread colors that you're using. I stitched this about two or three years ago and my husband just asked me this past week, "Who is OD?". LOL
Siobhan, I would love to learn who these initials are for...I decided not to change them since I wanted to stay true to the reproduction, but I sure am curious! Maybe long lost lovers??
This is looking reallynice Jacquie! Excellent colour choices!

Jacquie, I really love the colors of floss you've chosen for BP. You're making great progress! :)
