Today, on New Year's, I started my version of Needleprint's Beatrix Potter Sampler. I belong to a Stitch-a-long Blog which you can find along the right in my blog list. I'm using Belfast linen in Light Sand and using Vicki Clayton's hand dyed silk in the colorway "Everlasting." 2 threads over two. I just love the color variation of the light and dark mauves and my first Quaker motif just flew off my fingers while stitching. A very enjoyable stitch!! My goal is to stitch a medallion or two every week or so...we'll see!
I think it's a nice tradition to start something new to create on New Year's day...at least one resolution is out of the way!! Happy New Year and Happy Stitching to you all!

Wow you've started and so have I!! So I best get a photo to prove it!
Thank you for your birthday wishes they weren't really belated as I leave my cards up on view right into January otherwise they are not noticed in the christmas period and we leave those up till 12th night, my cards have to stay up longer!
Great idea!! I think I'll just try and finish my sweater before I start anything else ...other than reorganiIng my sewing room and starting a sewing project.
Very cute......still tempted, but have to realistically say that I have to finish some pieces before I dig into another one. But I will enjoy your progress....have fun!!!! XXX Annelies
