I found a booties knit pattern that even I could do! It's almost like origami...after you knit the above shape up, the you fold it up and sew up a seam, and ta da!!!!

I also made a hat...I later added some cute pom poms to each corner of the hat...so cute too...basically, you knit up a rectangle and fold it up... http://www.goodknit.net/pdfs/free/earhat.pdfSo much fun knitting these things up, and they will match perfectly with the baby blanket since the same yarns were used. Now just hope it stays a girl!! I have leftover blue yarn, however, just in case!!!

I am a bit worried that Clare could always turn out to be a BIG SURPRISE named Clark ( or whatever)!!! I would have to make a whole lot of baby items, because I have been pretty over the top with the PINK!!!
Oh well....we will be joyous just to have this baby to hold no matter what he/she turns out to be. The booties are SOOOO cute and the hat is adorable. I made a hat this week too. One styling little baby...that is for sure. XXX
Is Clare a family name?? Just curious...also, I know a couple Clares!
