Mega Cable Scarf

I'm so glad to have found this easy cable scarf from the http://stitchdcblog.blogspot.com/!!!
I did change it a bit by reversing the first and second rows so that I would be on the knit side for the cable, and I used Lion Brand's Wool Ease Thick 'N Quick yarn instead. I found that one skein is enough for the scarf itself, but had to steal a little bit of yarn from a second skein in order to do the pom poms.
For the pom poms, I used Clover's Extra Large pom pom maker, but if you wanted to leave the pom poms off, it looks very nice without them. I think these scarves will make wonderful holiday presents...

Only took me two evenings to knit this up...I did stay with #19 needles and for my cable holder, I used a #13 double pointed needle since that was the biggest one I had...I will be getting Clover's huge cable holder hook shortly to make it easier still to knit the next one.

Jacquie,
I love the scarf! You did a great job.
If you take any more pictures, I need something laid next to the scarf to give it perspective. At first, until I read how large your needles were, I thought it was a small, skinny scarf. ;}
You've learned a beautiful new talent.

Sorry alberta Ann...but I just take pictures to take pictures, I guess, and not for the scale...if I were giving lessons, that would be a great idea...but size 19 needles does give a clue...:)
