Peter's 21st birthday!

 My youngest son Peter turned 21 this week!!  Doesn't seem possible, but there it is...we had a nice celebration with family and friends.

 Peter got some nice gifts too...the orange jacket above that will keep him dry in the rain when he bikes to school.

 Peter also got a newspaper my parents had saved that was printed on the very day his was born.

 About to blow out the candles on top of some yummy cheesecake...

Another milestone!!  We are very proud of our young man!!

And St Patrick's Day is a good excuse to wear green...and to eat Leprechauns!

A Little Sign of Spring...

 

I love tulips and have already had two lovely bouquets to enjoy...and I'm progressing well with the scarf I'm knitting.  The wool yarn is by Ewe Ewe and the scarf pattern by them is Cloudy Weather...both can be purchased at Noble Knits.

25 years...

 

 
Hard to believe that 25 years ago, Frank and I got married!  Look how young we were!!  And my Opa and Oma were alive and enjoyed the day...what nice memories!

 We drove a short distance to Santa Barbara for some relaxation and sunshine.  We were so fortunate with the gorgeous weather...not too hot, and not cold at all!  We had fun exploring and walked our doggy Maggi everywhere...

We took Maggi to the pier and along the beach...

 We also had fun looking at all the wonderful art exhibits!

 We also enjoyed just being back at our motel with the wonderful court yard...we loved sitting there with book or knitting in hand, or drinking coffee and having breakfast...
                                            

Now we're back to reality!!  I hope we make it another 25 years!
