More Quaker Hornbook progress...

I finished the stitching portion of With My Needle's Quaker Hornbook class project!
I really liked how the hand dyed thread looks...

Close up of the swan under the magnifier...
Now on to the finishing to make it look like the above...I need a piece of mat board, batting, some glue, and a ton of bravery!!!

That is SOOOO pretty! I need to work on mine but as always, my fear of finishing has me in its grips before even starting the stitching!

I love the overdyed thread you chose for the project, and I hope you'll send me a photo for my blog of the completed piece.

Jut take a deep breath, and you can move on to the finishing. It is pretty clear cut.

Ok...got the warm 'n natural...the acid free mat board...and the Aleene's glue...going to give this a go some time this weekend...
